What the file contains

Choose from nearby publishable business-radio and civil-airfield records, UK-wide CB, PMR446, amateur, marine, common and published military-air channels. Compatible local RSGB ETCC repeaters can also be included.

The file uses CHIRP generic CSV. Names are shortened only where the format requires it, unsupported rows are removed, and any documented capacity limit is applied.

Compatibility and limits

The supplied CHIRP CSV is analogue-only, receive-only and radio-independent. Copy wanted memories into an image downloaded from your supported radio, keep Duplex set to off and upload only from that radio-specific image.

Public data does not confirm continuous activity, exact usage or every digital access parameter. Airport and published military-air entries are discovery aids and must not be used for navigation.

CHIRP questions

What file will I receive for CHIRP?

You will receive CHIRP generic CSV (.csv) with loading guidance for the Open, copy into your radio image, upload workflow.

How quickly is it delivered?

Your first file is generated after starting membership, and later member files are generated on request. They are usually emailed within minutes.

Will every frequency be active?

No. WTR, shared-channel and airport data identify possible listening channels, but not every frequency transmits continuously. The file is a practical discovery list.

Does it include mapped trunked systems?

No. Files contain conventional discovery channels only and do not follow trunked conversations as a complete mapped system.
